My friend has a Toyota Supra TT and is a dedicated Toyota fan. We are looking this weekend for a silver one. I've looked underneath one for him to see how "off-roadable" it was and was concerned at the exhaust pipe crossing underneath the transmission. I think they are ugly but admit that they are growing on me. A truly capable off-roader would up the beauty factor for me. We'll see... Thanks for the pics. Ain't it amazing what a 3" lift can do...

i'll agree that lift makes those look much better! I like the blacks, silvers, and red one that i've seen....they're growing on me as well now if i can just get over the other colors on those :o if i could make one it'd be forest green with black steelies 8)

I really like the bumpers. When I looked at them, I didn't like how much plastic was on the front end. That really fixes the problem nicely.

I've been following the research and development of these vehicles since there inception, so to speak, and since production they have done nothing but impress the heck out of me. The price is right, the construction is right, yes even stock, the whole package is perfect for the trails and casual wheeling.

I think its a great vehicle, I think it will have a very commited and large following (like our KJs  ) and in the long run its going to do very well.

Congratulations Toyota!

I'll be taking one of these for a test drive sometime next week - I love my jeep, but darn - I want to test this one.

Jeff, It's growing on me more and more every day. I ain't going to go do a trade in or anything but like I said...it's looking better to me every time I see one. I know it has the true heart of a Toyota and that is a very good thing. I have owned many Toyotas and they all have stood up to some hard test. Love the pictures...Just go buy yours and get it over with. You already know your going to. I will still love ya man. Later...Clint

Clint, I think Kinsey will be the 1st one to jump. I guess we'll both just have to drive his. The KJ is almost paid off and I'm not looking forward to another car note just yet !.

I dig the aftermarket for the cruiser and being built on a platform that's been around for the last 10 years in 1 form or another around the globe sure doesn't hurt.

I'd like to see some rocker protection tied into those fender wells. A tube skeleton from front fender well to rear fender well in tube steel could be cool.

Saw one up close today, nice looking rig, caught my eye.I'd never buy one I'm to much of a JEEP and FORD man,but those FJ's are nice looking, had the pleasure helping restore a '76 model landcruiser, they look pretty beefy from the factory, the FJ's should be pretty good for those you buy one.
