I've got new BFG T/A KO's and was wondering what a good pressure to air down to is for sand or rock crawling?

If I were to air down and hada decent air compresor to air me back up I would go down to about 15-25 psi, whatever your comfortable with and depending on the longevity of being on sand...

That was nice reading about airing down tires.
I do rocks and mud I put my 265.75/16 from 32 on the highway to 20
on the rocks and it made a big difference, before I did the same trails without airing down.
It took me about 12 minutes to air back up with my little jeep air pump.

On my XJ's 32x11.5's I run 25psi street - 20psi trail - 15psi sand.
On the KJ's 245/75's im at 30psi street - 20-25psi trail - 20psi sand, I won't go lower than 20 on the Liberty because of 1- the heavier weight, and 2- a 245/75 on an 8" rim it is too easy to lose a bead.

I lost TWO beads once ! all within a mater of 15 min. and 50ft. I was running 18psi but I did hit some rocks hard and then a tree end back to back. Luckly I had friends who had compressors and we reseated it on the trail and all went well. I'd second the 20 psi thing in mud too. Sand maybe lower would be ok.
