I tried to do some comparison between the two choices. This review rated them equal:

Mud 2.5 Star
Trail 3.5 Star
Snow 3.5 Star
Treadwear 3.5 Star
Available 3.5 Star

Firestone Destination AT
Tire Ratings (1-5 star)

Street 4 Star
Sand 3.5 Star
Rock 2.5 Star
Mud 2.5 Star
Trail 3.5 Star
Snow 3.5 Star
Treadwear Not Rated
Available 3.5 Star
Sizes 3 thumbs up
Average Cost 3 money bags

* Don't even consider it if this is your main terrain. This tire will not perform well at all in this terrain.

** Its trying but not doing too well. You'd be better off choosing another for this terrain.

*** Average. Its doing ok, not great but its holding its own. A decent choice if you're compromising.

**** This tire does very well in this terrain but its not the best tire available however still a very good choice

***** This tire performs exceptionally well in this terrain. Among the best suited for this terrain

Size Availability - This is a one to five thumbs up snapshot rating where one mean poor selection, two means ok, three means average, four is above average while five is an excellent selection to choose from. Check with suppliers or manufacturers for actual available sizes. While this rating system is vague, we couldn't possibly list all available sizes with size selection changing over time. Please see manufacturer for list of sizes in production.

Money Bags - This is an average cost scale based on an averaged advertised cost of this tire when compared to other tires. One money bag represents the tire is typically one of the cheapest available while 5 money bags indicates that this tire is one of the most expensive. Averages are based on the tires reviewed.

My vote would be Firestone Destination A/T

Personally seen those tires in action.... they could do no wrong. Those are going to be my next summer tires for my KK when my STs run down.

I have Toyo ATs before and love them, for a mostly onroad, and camping/mountainbiking type lightoff road use, but I am not sure I would trust the sidewalls around rocks and roots for too long. But the tradeoff is they are as good on gas/power as a straight street tire, and grip like an AT.

I went to Firestone yesterday to get a price quote. I can buy each tire for $131.99 and get one free. I felt like that was a pretty good price. I’ll be buying all 5 tires to replace my OE tires. Unless if someone can convince me to go with another brand, I plan to buy the Firestone Destination A/T’s. :JEEPIN:

I ran the Destination ATs for 20-22,000 miles when I was new up to lifted in 245-70s , liked them a lot, VERY quiet on the road, rode great, did good in snow and ice , not a good mud tire of course but oterwise a really good tire IMO

I haven't been in any real deep sloppy mud but the little bit I was in I just aired down and they did quiet well, atleast I thought they did. The majic number for the mud I was in was 10psi and they seemed to have decent bite but is no mud tire for sure. :JEEPIN:

I added 5 ounces of dynabeads to each wheel and it rides better than those stock tires. I'm very happy so far. Here are some pics:
