Hey all, I bought some chrome Cragar rims (can't remember the model) about 2 months ago and they've already started rusting. I went back to the shop and they said it was normal for steelies to do that so they won't let me exchange them. I can get the rust off but it'll keep coming back, so how do I stop that from happening?

Same thing happened to mine. Is it only around the chrome (lugs, caps)? I was wondering how i could remove the rust too.

Try chrome polish on fine 0000 steel wool.

After you use some brasso and/or steel wool put some vaseline on the lug nuts and it'll be fine.
