yeah, i guess the sound may frighten some people but its not a real problem. like i said i beat on my jeep on a regular basis and even with out the lift it was no big deal running 245/75/16. the only problem was that i was shaving off the plastic rivets that hold the rear flares at full flex. Replaced them with some aluminum rivets and my flares stay on
