You're probably right, too much of a good thing is just adding unnecessary weight to your tires; but what I was trying to point out is that they were talking about 'centrifugal force', which does not exist. They are stating that the balls are pushed to the outside, while in fact the tire is pulling them to the inside.
My question is still if anybody has checked the inside of their tires since they've done this? Any inside tire-wear or broken/worn down beads?
I only have about 1000 miles with the beads in, with no problems. I haven't found any evidence on the web of bad things happening. I've found a few more manufacturer of these dynamic balancing media
looks like for smaller tires they are using a powder that can be installed into the stem, this also requires installing filtering stems to keep the stems from plugging up. For larger tires the media is beads and you have to break the bead to install, but beads are too large to plug stems. The airsoft beads look like a pretty good match, although a little lighter than the ceramic media blasting material that all these places offer.
