You can also add 2 or 3 conduit nuts to that lift to get a little more height out of it

Keep my number handy and if you need help just call  well long distance help but

will do tom....

hopefully it all goes well...

in your opinion... what do you think i could fit under there? tire height wise.

You "should" be able to do a 245-75 as long as the its more of an AT type, anything with bigger lugs may get you, unless you add some to the lift

hey daspes, whats your view on 32 x 11.50 15s do you think the width will cause me problems??

Yep, I think you will have problems with anything over a 10.50 (265mm). And even that depends on BS of your rims. To little and rub on the swaybar, to much and you and you rub on fenders.

32's in height require a bit more work. Large amount of trimming, and you will most likely have to relocate you washer bottle.

agree that would be pushing it, with the 265-75-16s its pushing it for sure, Like Mike said have to have the right width wheel, right backspacing and hold your head at a 83 degree angle

year and front bumper type will also come into play. I went with the OME HD springs and shocks, not the Franky, and had tones of rubbing up front using the MOAB rims with 245/75/16 MTR's. I ended up cutting a buunch of the lower bumper off to make things fit. Tom doesn't have any of these problems because he has a bigger lift and an ARB bumper which allows more front clearance.

With the BDS lift, and the less aggressive duratracs, he will be good to go. Pinch welds will most likely need to be pounded, just gotta wait and see. And maybe SLIGHT bumper trimming at the worst, nothing too bad. I hacked my bumper up cause my 31" MTRs rubbed like no other, and I love the aggressive look of a cut bumper.

how big a Duratrac do you think I can fit on my 17" 6 spoke OEM rims to replace the MOAB MT/R's I have on there now?

well a 245-70-17 is 30.7
compared to the 245-75-16 which is 30.5
so would be pretty close to the same

or regear and cut more for these
245-75-17 is 31.5
265-70-17 is 31.7

or buy a ARB for the front , lift it ever so little more and not worry about rubbing

Tom,
I don't have $1100  for an ARB at the moment! KJ is becoming the wifes DD but still needs to look the part. I am thinking of moving the MOABs to the LJ for now until I can lift it and decide what to do from there. BTW, you still need me to count those teeth?

RE: The Teeth, When you have time no hurry at all
Yes if shes going to be driving it then switch the Moabs/MTRs out to the LJ. These DuraTracs are quiet and look like they should do good in snow , wet roads etc. They are rated pretty good overall

even though i would love to do that tom... i dont think i have the capital funds to do that type of remodeling for my jeep. lol...

i think i am going to try and fit the 245/75/16 on my kj.... kind of a tossup between the duratracs, BFG AT and grabbers AT2.

Mines been an ongoing project since September 2004, so I never had the capitol funds either but bought/sold/traded/ made it myself, what ever it took to get it the way I wanted it, of course its still not done
