Apparently Discount Tire ordered my rims from Unique Wheels instead of Cragar. I know they are basically the same thing, I just wanted to inform you so we are on the same page. My Unique Wheels Series 252 Black Street Lock "D" Window rim (16x7 rim size, 5x4.5 bolt pattern, 0 offset, and 4 backspacing) finally arrived so I could test fit it. The 0 offset rim rubbed with my LT245/70R16/D BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tire and stock suspension. I need this rim in a 42 offset to make it fit properly with my set-up. Discount Tire call Unique Wheels to see if they could make their Series 252 Black Street Lock "D" Window rim in a 42 offset. Apparently they can't make this rim in that offset because of the rim's outer lock ring. I also called Diamond Racing Wheels [
http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/]; they make custom steel wheels. On their site it states, "You name it, Diamond can build it!". They couldn't make me a steel rim with a 42 offset either. They said they can make rims in a lower offset, but not a higher offset. Thus, it looks like getting a steel rim with my current set-up is out of the picture. On a more positive note, I am very happy with my tires. They just clear the wheel well with the OE rims

Here is a picture of the test fit (automatic camera phone flash = crappy photo):

I really like these wheels and would like to make them fit properly (without cutting my fender and pinch weld). I believe the only option I am left with is lifting my KJ; I think you guys saw this coming

I am looking at the most cost efficient way to lift my KJ and make these wheels fit. FYI - I have never taken my KJ off road and don't plan on doing so anytime soon; I plan to keep it only on the streets. What size lift do I need to make these wheels fit? I am looking at this Rough Country 3" Suspension Lift Kit [
