245/75/16 question

I am about to buy a liberty and will lift and tire it ASAP most people ae recommending 245/75/16s, do you run these on the stock rims? if so, do you need to run wheel spacers?

Those tires will fit the stock rims. If you're lifting you shouldn't have any trouble. I and a few others are running 265/75/16 with no problem. Rubbing will happen at full lock and some rubbing on the well liners in the rear at full stuff.

yea I have 265/75's on my stock 7" Renegade wheels....so you should be good to go.

Mine are on the polished aluminum wheels that were an upsell on the '05 Sport...

Not sure if you are interested, but there MAY be a set of 225/75/16 Firestone Destination M/T's at the Firestone shop at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, MA. I bought them about 2 years ago, and only kept them on for a few weeks. I put about 200 - 300 miles on them (except the spare) before I swapped them out for 245/70 Revo's. My brother used to be one of the managers there, but no longer works there. As far as I know, when he left they were still there. I'm not sure, but by law they can't sell them as new, so you might be able to get a sweet deal on them. Also, they will fit stock rims and no lift with no rubbing. They are a great tire, but there were a little too rough for my daily driving needs. If you are really interested, PM me and I will see if my brother can get more info.

265/75s will rub kinda bad, 265/70's wont be to bad with stock rims. May rub the sway bar and rear fender when flexing.
