Well, I am about to pull the trigger on a set of 245/75/R16 Firestone Destination M/T's and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tire. Thanks! |

I have both AT and MT. I've been satisfied. |

I love their performance. They clean amazingly in the mud I see here in the Front Range (mostly a clay-looking red), and do great on the rocks when aired down. They don't do as good on the rocks as MT/Rs, but they definitely self-clean like an M/T should, compared to the minimal self cleaning of the MT/Rs. That was priority for me so I got the Destination M/Ts. I think they look stellar.

They howl from about 25 to 35 mph. At higher speeds wind noise covers it up if they are even noisy then. I love my stereo |

Tires are mounted! Only have three pics because the camera battery decided to die on me. But honestly, the camera does these tires no justice. I know my previous stock goodyears were horrible in the rain. They'd always spin with even the slightest step on the gas but not these tires! I'm gonna play with them in the sand tomorrow behind my work and I'll have some more pics.
Oh, and RespectMyLibertay is right, they do howl around 25-35 mph, but I actually like the sound of it. And the only rubbing I get (on road at least) is on the sway bar at full lock. |

I have a set of the detination at's on my tj, 31". I now have 40k+ on them in a little over 12 months. They need to be replaced soon, but I think I can get 5k more before the snow starts falling. I'd of put the mt's on if I didnt use this as my DD, 120+ miles a day commuting. The stock gsa's barely got 35k and were unusable. The libby gets better milage and is newer, but the wife wants to keep it clean/low miles? Later, Steve |
