I got my245/75/16 MTR's and my frankenlift is on the way, so my question is.... with these tire and lift on the stock rims, do i need wheel spacers? (pros/cons of spacers)

You don't "need" them if you don't mind some rubbing on the swaybar at full steering lock. Most folks will tell you to just get the correct offset wheels vs. risking any potential safety issues with the spacers.

I ran 245/75-16 MT/R's on stock rims for a long time and had No problems other than the small amount of sway bar rubbing mentioned.
I wouldn't use spacers.

the 16x8 5 on 4.5 5" backspace is the spec of the MOAB wheel that a lot of people like to use. Some people even go out to a 4.5" backspace, but probably not wider than that. 8" is a good width.
