Ditto to the above...I just got one from a fellow lost member and was thinking of mounting it to my roof basket, but I think I'll be taking that down now that school is starting to help some with the gas mileage since it is mainly highway driving. I was also thinking a possible front bumper mounting, I don't have an ARB or anything but the OEM bumper is beat up enough from the cutting behind it for the larger tires and renny fog lamps and tow hooks there that I don't think a little more cutting would hurt it. I'll keep yall updated on that...But please let us know about that spare tire Hi-Lift mount setup you got going on there.

I wonder if Cardomain is getting wise to all the remote linking going on. Some folks avatars that display cardomain websites are not working either.

I just used a threaded rod that i put through the existing hole in the center of the spare mount with some washers and nuts... 5 min job.... and all done... oh yeah you have to pop the center cap out of the spare :wink:

Heh, before I had mine, I gorilla glued a piece of decking wood on each side. I figured it would pop right off, but it stayed. The wood was about 3/4-1in and wasn't enough with my tires. I ordered some 1.25in daystar bumpstops from All J's and put them in. Ive yet to put my tires back on and see if they rub still. :?

i did the hockey puck thing with my rusty's coil lift, rancho's, and 255/70R16's.... works great...
i stuck the hockey pucks on with heavy duty 3M outdoor double sided foam tape...
