Wheel ??

Can someone give me the lowdown on how much (in inches) of a wider stance the Moab rims give compared to my stock renegade wheels. If I understand correctly the Moabs are wider but have more backspacing?

stock Renegade rims = 16"x7" with 5.375" or 5.5" backspace.
Moab rims = 16"x8" with 5.0" backspace.

I didn't measure how much it changed, but you can see pics on my cardomain. Just flip through the pages.

With the moabs your stance would be roughtly 1 inch wider. Bascally, BS is measured as the distance from the backside of the wheel's mounting surface to the back edge of the rim. The less distance, or backspacing, the wider the stance. In this case wider by 1 inch (.5" on each side). Hope that helps.

So Spidertrax 1.25" spacers on my renegade wheels would give me 1.5" more wider stance (compared to to my Moabs)?

If the BS on your Renny wheels is 5.5 then yes.

Renny wheels plus 1.25 spacers = 2.5 additional inches in width of stance.
Moab wheels will give you .5 on each side for a gain of 1'' in width of stance.
