I have found a bunch of posts about the 16x8 rims and how some people would like it if they were lighter. I haven't found any posts on the 15x8 rims though. I just ordered a Frankenlift and want to get some soft 8's. I'd like to hear if anyone has used the 15" ones, and what backspacing. It looks like they come in 4 and 4.75 backspacing. I'm hoping to use 31" Firestone Destinations. Any help is appreciated.

Wes

i THINK that with 4.75 you would be fine....but i don't know, i've actually been trying to find this out myself. There is someone on the jeepkj forum who is running 15x8 with 5.5 bs but those are factory wheels from a TJ i think and i havent found any company that sells wheels with 5.5 bs. :?

BFG AT KO 31 15 10.5 are great excellent tires, I am 100% happy with them, absolute no complaints, they do what they are designed for and run down the highway smooth, great stiff sidewalls, I can hit curves hard and fast with confidence then do rocks and trails without fear of sidewall punctures. Ok 1 small complaint..they have a tendecy to pick up small rocks/sticks etc and either flail them out or do the tap tap tap down the road, I have to pull over and pull the rock out. Thats one complaint I can live with

Peace Out - KjHawaii

They look good.

You inspired me to purchase a set of 5 ctr caps too - had them professionally sprayed high gloss black to match my rims, will fit them tomorrow.......

I cant answer your question on the rims, but I have the firestone destinations on my TJ. I must say they have excellent road maners, no noise, great wear, just turned 43k on my 31x10.50-15 and still have a little left. I plan on putting a set on my kj as soon as the stockers wear down, or I just cant take them any more.
Later,
SC
