I've come up with a plan on doing some mods to my 06. It looks like (Rusty's) 2 1/2" lift and 265/70R16 tires. This will be in the near future. For now I need to get some mud flaps. ( I can't believe jeeps don't come with mud flaps as standard equipment) anyway, will the "Jeep" mudflaps that I see all over the internet be big enough for these size tires, or is the a better after market product? Thanks

Hey, How's it going, For starters, KJ's don't come with mud flaps, especially on the renegade. It really depends on the terrain that your driving on, if you never plan to take it off road, then fine put mud flaps one, but if you ever plan on going off roading in mud, over rocks, or in the snow, don't waste your time or money. I thought about that after I ordered them. The ironic thing is that I live in the wilderness (Superior National Forest) If I were to get caught driving any motorized vehicle in an "off road" manner the USFS and the tree huggers would have a fit. I might accidentally get L.O.S.T. on a few ski or snowmobile trails next spring after the snow melts.

Don't know how big a flap or what style you are looking for. I found that Grobralski make a durable, moulded (Honda-style) flap that I have on both my Chevy pick-up and the Liberty that works well with stock height & tires. The only thing is the size is only listed for the rear of the Liberty. Used the same size on the front, only had to notch around the pinch weld to get them to fit. Definately keep the slush out of the door handles.
