I want to get new tires in time for winter for my 2004 Limited and I have a couple of questions. First off I have the factory GY Wranglers P215/75R16's that I'm not a big fan of, they slip alot in the rain. In reading a couple of threads here it seems the popular opinion is that I should get BFG T/A KOs if I'd like a little more traction out of my tires. I can only find 225's on the internet, will they fit? Also I really don't do any offroading and I'm trying to get every last mile out of my gas tank so are those tires really what I need? Thanks for the help!

235/70/16 is the stock size on many libertys. its only a 28.95in tire and your 215/75/16's are a 28.69. You wouldnt be going any bigger but would have more tire on the road to help with handling. If your not going to go offroad or be in any snow, I wouldnt get an A/T tire. I would just get a good All season tire..

225/75 16 will fit stock that is what I run
I would not get a tire that agressive if you are looking for good milage
I put the bridgestone AT revos on my work truck and I can see better milage than with goodyear RT/S's ( F250 weighing over 8000# every day)
I would only buy a load range C tire for good fuel economy and keep the PSI at around 32-35psi
we have the wrangler AT/S's on our '03 limited with pushing 30K on them they will get maby another 10K ,40K is not bad for goodyears
we do not do the best job of keeping up with the PSI infact the only time I check it is when I go wheeling and need to air down and then back up we do rotate every 3K when we get the oil changed ,we got free oil changes for 7 years when we bought ours 3+ years ago
The AT/S's are very quiet seem to get good fuel economy and do quite well off road as well as on wet pavement wich was the main reason we had them put on at DCX's expence ,also a good thing cause they wanted $195 each and we needed 5
