I read the sticky at the top but I was wondering if there was anyone with some real world experience.

I have a 2" lift on my Liberty and was looking at a set of Rubicon Rims and tires. I currently have 245/70/17's that rub at almost full wheel turn in reverse. Would the Rubicons rub more because they are bigger over all, or would the extra spacing help that they come with help it?

Just curious.

Thanks
Joe

With the OME lift you very well may rub, but that is easily fixed by adding a daystar spacer up front - then you basically would have a frankenlift.

could you explain the spacers a bit more to me? I am new to Jeeps and lifts... :D

I would assume you are refering to the $260 lift that comes with spacers and upper strut plates?

Thanks
Joe

He's refering to the front spacer portion of the 1.5/2.5 Daystar lift kit. A much cheaper option would be to get the spacer from Rusty's as they seem to be identical in size.
