What does it take to run this tire size? I am looking into running the Super Swamper LTB size 31x11.50-16LT, or the original TSL in the 10/32-16LT size. Their true ODs are 31.0" and 31.2" and their actual widths are 10.3" and 10.1", respectively. So basically, both tires are more like 31x10.5s. I have stock aluminum Limited rims (5.0ish backspace?) and 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers, which eliminate all my rubbing with my M/Ts, close to 30.0x9.5s. What will it take to fit some of these Super Swampers? Of course I can bumpstop the rear, but I have a nice dremel I'd like to put to use. First I'm gonna neatly cut away the pinch weld seam. But other than that, what can I do to stuff these tires and still get full flex? I was thinking of cutting away the underside lip of my fender flares, where my fenderwell linings previously connected to the flares themselves with the push-pin style rivets. I would think this would keep the tires from pushing up on the flares to and popping them off, especially in the rear. Then I could line the single outside edge of the flares with some sort of rubber trim. I was also thinking of trimming the fog light area away, which would really help with my approach angle, too. Anything else? I know quite a few of LOST members have 32s and I know someone has 33s. What have you guys done to even come close to flexing with those size tires? Or do you just get used to the rubbing and weird noises like I was before my wheel spacers?
