K, it's winter in Maine, the stock goodyears just plain suck !!
From a fellow jeep owners perspective, I'm looking for a good all round tire, good wear, aggressive tread for the snow and mild.. i mean mild off roading.

I was looking at the BFG at ko's.. in 235 size.. truck has 225 on it now.
Second choice are the bridgestone duelers..
3rd choice, General Grabbers AT2..

Let's hear your suggestions.. My main decision is this is my daily driver, need good tread wear and that they don't look like car tires. lol.
Thanks in advance guys.. Love this site !!!

Wish list: 2.5 inch lift, bigger tires and more aggressive tires. Custom rock sliders. That's it for now.

It looks like you are considering all the right things. It is going to come down to how much you want to spend I think.

If money was no issue I'd go for the Dueler AT Revos - great for on road - performed great offroad too - drawback... they are pricey

for less money you can go for the Firestone Destination AT - pixeldzn had them and they looked and performed good
As for size.... max you can go on the 05 renne with minimal rubbing at full turn and no lift is 245/70-16

Great advice guys.. thank you..
I'll probably go w/ the BFG AT KO's.. had them on my full size blazer when i lived in texas. Loved them..!!

Found them here for $135 a piece for 235 size. That was I won't have to pay the shipping from Tire Rack .

I'll keep you posted..

so far i like my Yokohoma Geolander AT +II, i would have gotten the Bridgstones, but they don't have them in my size, but so far i have no complaints with mine, and best of all they are rather inexpensive compared to others.
