I like the idea of larger tires on the Libby but first I'm going to need a lift & likely offset rims.
How much offset should I be looking for?

Likewise, rims come in either a Negative, Zero, or Positive off set, not to mention back spacing. What is the proper off set factor for the Liberty when buying aftermarket wheels?

Off set isn't that important as it changes with rim width, the more rim sticking out past the lug nuts the more offset. The Moab Rubicon wheels have worked very well, they have a 5 inch backspacing which seems about perfect for rub,stuff, etc. on the Libs. Get as close to that as you can. Forgot to mention Moabs are 16X8 rims.

Has anyone tried a 16x9 rim with 4.5" backspacing? 245/75s on them. or wold that just look silly?
