I wanted to trim fenders and fix the pinch weld before I pick up any tires, but I don't think I'm gonna wait for the Midwest weather to settle.

What's the prognosis for on road driving with AT (not MT) 245/75R16s?

Will I only get rubbing at full lock along the pinch weld? Do I risk popping rivets or pulling the liner?

Maybe I should just get them and look where my jeep rubs and fix it from there....

depends on the tire. my mud rovers in that size only rubbed at full lock on the fog light covers. no rivets popped, just made noises. in the rear they rubbed at full stuff. i think youll be fine. i think mt/r have a tendency to rub more on the pinchweld than the fog light doors. id say get em if its already lifted and deal with it. you can always trim/hammer.
