 Post subject: 255/70/16 on moabs ans 2" lift?

I remember hearing something about the moabs being a weird size? Will this fit: 255/70/16's on a CRD with 2" daystar lift?

That's a pretty fat tire, basically a 30x10" or something like that depending on what exact tire you get (could even be a 31x10.5). You would probably have rubbing. The Moab rims won't make much of a difference, but they will probably prevent rubbing on the swaybar, which is good. I'd go for a 2.5" lift if you can, but either way at least expect rubbing on the fog light door areas and pinch weld in the front, and the door flares in the rear. You'd probably have better luck with a 245/75 tire (or a 30x9.5" on a 15" rim). I think I can reasonably say very few LOST members who run tires with true ODs of >31" and widths > 10" either have lots of rubbing or bumpstops. It's hard to tell, but I think a tire's width creates more rubbing than height to a certain extent, on our KJs.
