Kinetic pull?

After I got the LBJ recall done a couple of months ago, my KJ started pulling to the left. I took it back to the dealer because I thought it was out of alignment. They told me no, LBJ has nothing to do with that, must be bad tire.

Then I went to a Goodyear place and had them align it. Well, they told me it wasnt out of alignment at all. Their conclusion was that my tires have a kinetic pull. How can I make sure its the tires?

I was planning on installing my lift this weekend and new tires next week. HOWEVER though, if the new tires dont fix the problem Im screwed because the dealer will not work on my lifted KJ.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried just rotating the tires? It just seems that doing so would have some effect on the "pull" even if it was slight. I think I might be more convinced it was the tires if the "pull" changed after rotating them.

Or, try swapping tires and wheels with a buddy's Jeep to test it.

put the front tires on the back and back on front if pull goes away then problem solved ,bad tires
if it still pulls and you paid for an alignment in any way shape or form demand a new one for free when they agree show up after you lift it and kill 2 birds with one stone

also the dealer CAN NOT refuse to do the recall because of any thing you do to your jeep it is a safety recall
not a "oh your LBJ could fail but you did something and thats why yours failed" recall
The only way I could see them refusing to do it and having a leg to stand on is if you changed your lower A arm or the spindle

preciated! Thats what I had in mind anyway. I'll head to the tire store tomorrow morning and let them swap out front and back tires.

got my tires rotated this morning and its still doing the exact same thing!!! Called the dealer for an appointment and they told me the earliest would be next tuesday.

Dropped it off at the dealer yesterday and picked it up today. They say they couldnt re-produce the problem. Tomorrow I am supposed to test drive with a technician. What can I do about this? How am I going to find out what it is? If I bring it in again they are probably going to say its the tires.
