What do you guys think about these tires?

Would 235/75/16 fit on a stock renny without rubbing? i havent seen that size in tire chart.

If you're not going to lift the Liberty, go with the 225/75R16 size. You really shouldn't have any rubbing at all with that size. Mean looking tires!

I recently bought a set of these tires in 245/75/R16 but I haven't had a chance to test them offroad yet. They are just as agressive as the MTR in looks but are directional based. If I get a chance to get out on the trail soon I'll let you know how the tires perform. As for size on an unlifted KJ I'd probably go with what Video Guy mentions.

or get an = size spare in a cheeper tire
that is what I have seen a lot of guys doing lately
they spend the bucks on Irocks and get a cheep standard TSL for a spare

If you bust a side wall you are buying a tire any way just as well take a chance that you wont get a flat other than a nail and get 4 good tires to hit the ground
at least that is how I see it

OH yeah 225/75 no lift an like 29.5" od and 0 rub with no pounding

I just put 245/65/17 on my stock 03 Liberty, with OD of 29.5 i have minor rubbing at 1/2 turn then it goes away.
Tires are Firestone Destination AT

Directional is also bad when you're rotating tires. If you do it the "correct" way, you'll end up with two the right direction and two the wrong, which would be dangerous for on-road braking and probably accelleration.

I researched all the tires, ya know did the whole thing, when it came down to it if your gonna keep it stock go w/ 225/75r/16 or my preference ( cause I like a little wider of a tire ) the 235/70r/16 size. As for the KUMHO tires they look like a decent tire for the price and there are a helluva lot of reviews on them ( I even thought about gettin them, ALL-SEASON TYPE ) But in the end I spent the extra buck and ( with the help of a few coupons from the firestone dealer ) I got the BRIDGESTONE dueller h/l alenzas 235/70/16 and they are an incredible all-season tire ( do alot of highway driving ), great handling, built strong enough for the weight of the JEEP ( unlike those death-tires wrangler st's ) an all around a great tire. My buddy's got the Firestone destination AT's and the Bridgestone dueller AT Revos and they like those very much. But if low price is your game the KUMHO's seem decent. Anyway good luck w/ your purchase and enjoy.

Everyone has good points on the directional stuff. The Kumho are purely my offroad tires and I appologize for not mentioning that in my earlier post when I mentioned "directional". My on-road tires are Wrangler Silent Armor's and my off-road spare is a Wrangler Silent Armor. I'd highly recommend that if you want a good all around tire (on and off road) that you consider the Silent Armor.
