I got my new tires today. Drove the 50 miles from Jacksonville to Saint Augustine going between 70 and 75mph. They were very quiet and gave a good road feel. I could tell the difference over the factory tires right away. MUCH BETTER! I don't have any plans for any trail rides soon so I think I'll take it to the beach in 2 wheel drive and see how it does in dry loose sand. I just don't want to get stuck. They charge $50.00 to $75.00 to tow you out :x

I also chose the wrangler silent armor to replace the factories, and i was very impressed. I love the stiffer sidewall, gives it a very confident feeling ride. Not that you will have to worry about this but did very well through a couple nasty snow storms up here in nebraska this last winter.

I do have a little rubbing. After I made the first post I went out to check and sure enough. It is only a spot in the front about 1/2" long and just barely hitting. No problem.

i've had 245 65 17's since november, i just now noticed that they do rub a little in the front. Not enough to worry about.
