What other jeep wheels, YJ, TJ, Xj, etc. and years have backspacing and 5x4.5 stud spacing that will work on the KJ?
What works and what doesn't?

None that I have found will work
I have tryed
Stock TJ steelies and the stock alum
the steelies hit the breaks the alum,s hit the steering ,they are the same BS as the oe KJ wheel's
I have also tryed some from an XJ and from a TJ unlimited
I had the same resualts as with the TJ alum
I love my CO2 and people with maching spares

I think the problem is that with the 5.5" BS the 15" rims hit the steering if they clear the breaks
but if you find some that dont hit the steering knuckle they will probably cause some rubbing at full flex

I would say if you tried some 16's from any model pre 2004 like a grand cherokee, they would fit without a problem. I know a lot of the current models of jeep that have been redesigned in the last few years (Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Commander) are moving to the 5 on 5 scheme.

What jason says about 15's has been reported by a few others on this forum as well. Our brake calipers are just too big for most 15s execpt for a couple of steelie models out there.

There are some nice aluminum 16" wheels that came on 97-01 fancy model XJ's that should fit and sometimes can be bought on XJ sites like NAXJA.org XJ guys prefer 15" rims.

Seen some pics on this site quite a few months ago with a fellow running GC wheels on his KJ,think they were the ones that kind of look like a gold spiderweb in the center. Don't remember the year rig they were on.
