just wandering what are folks paying for MTR's from a rubi? I have a line on some with ~85% tread left on them and the price will be $250 for all 5 ,1 is new from the spare This is through a shop that does work on LOADs of rubi's and they are doing work for the local dealer so when they get a used rubi in newer cond. sometimes they get it lifted and running 33's Is about $50 the going rate? is that to much? I know the shop owner so I know he is not trying to screw me he has too much to loose as he is in the local club and I could easily spread the word if he did OH yeah I know that I am the "MTR hater" but for $50 a tire for tires that I can easily get 30K out of and they will fit my jeep also knowing that any other tire will cost me twice as much I say "whay not"? |

Yes very good deal considering they're $178 each plus shipping and on back order from tirerack.com. I just paid a little more than that for 4 with about 90-95% tread remaining. |

I am just waiting for the call from the guy to tell me to come and get um The wife is more on board then I thought she would be But when I told her to think of it like this we have ~45K on the KJ and have yet to buy new tires the first set were junk and replaced by Good Year @~8K With G/Y ATS's wich we got almost 40K out of and I will likely keep them on for that long just to save money now with the NEED for new tires and these being $250 for all 5 that is cheeper than the cheep tires we would buy and buy the next set the jeep will have 80k+ on it if we still have it Yeah right I know we will still have it |

I must not have been real clear on what I did to get mine for such a GREAT deal First I know the owner so that helps I was calling to get info on somthing completly unrelated to tires and over heard a some one ayin yes we can get 245/75 16 Iroks I said how much for 32's and that led to talking about tires for the KJ I asked if he had some that he took off of a TJ he said yes so I got them I would say do the same I can probably get another set with >50% tread left for the same price +shipping or you can do the same at any local shop that may do work on rubis |
