Firestone Destination MT and trimming

I'm getting a set of 245/75 firestone destination mt's. With a frankenlift on my 03 liberty will I need to pound down the pinchweld or trim anything?

I had those tires as my last set on my 2003 Limited, with the alloy Limited rims, of course. They have the same backspacing as any other stock rim, 5.5". I never had to pound my pinch weld, but when flexed and turned it always looked like it was about to slash my tire (so you might wanna pound it). I took out my fenderwell liners, and that fixed all the rubbing in the front except at full lock turns. The rear rubbed just slightly on the door flares and a bunch on the body above the shock mounts. I then got wheel spacers so as to fix my turning problem and to make the stance more aggressive. It fixed all the rubbing in the front, and made it so the rear only rubbed the door flare slightly, almost identical to before but just a little less, and the area where the two flare edges meet (the door flare and the rear fender flare, the one that connects to the rear bumper). The spacers made my backspacing about 4.25", so you will likely experience similar rubbing to what I did with my wheel spacers. Your rims are an inch wider, though, so it will be worse.
Oh, I almost forgot, I never installed my rear bumpstops that came with the Frankenlift.
I just got new tires that are the same overall diameter but about a 1/2" wider. I flexed it out the other day and realized that I need to pound the pinch weld just to play it safe, and trim the bottom edge of the entire rear flare, from door to rear bumper. Then I should have no rubbing whatsoever.

callaway you will defintly have to atleast pound the pinchweld with those rims. i just put on my245/75 MT/Rs on the exact same soft 8's and had to pound the pinchweld down to even get it close to stop rubbing. I even still have to do something with the front bumper because its still rubbing.
