I'm going to replace my stock 235/70/16 SR-A's in a couple of months before the snow hits and going with a slightly bigger size to 245/70/16 stock height. I can't decide between the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor or the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. Anyone have any experience with either and are there any differences between both? The GY is speed rated "T" and the BFG is rated "S"; does this make much difference? |

As far as what I have read both will be about the same, I used to run BFGs all the time and they did great. As far as 245 70s on the Liberty as far as power no difference that I can see, ride is so much better, like driving a different vehicle! More stable in my opinion. Look at all the ratings for both tires as far as heat/ wear etc. When it comes to BFGs you have people that love them and others that think you only pay more for the name. Tom |

Try looking at a 235/75/16...Hercules Terra Trac AT or Toyo Open Country AT...they are just a bit taller but fit a stock KJ. The big advantage is that they will have a higher Load Rating because of the "75" sidewall. |
