soft 8's

i found some @ quadratech for 34.99 each minus the center cap. they are 5x4.5 15x7 . is this a good set of wheels or should i get a different size. i want some nice big tires and i want to get it right the first time. i already spent way too much on the foose wheels i have now. they are 18's and i cant find any good meaty tires to fit it. i got my lift installed 2 days ago and im really pissed at myself for wasting my cash on tires and wheels that i NOW hate. so my ? is really what soft 8 wheel would you get that has many different tires can fit it. thanks yall

It seems that most use the 16" rims. I have the stock 17" and it looks like I'll go down to 16" also.

i believe you best bet is 16x8, 5in backspace, 5x4.5 lug pattern. This will stick out on the sides 1" more and looks real nice. Also, ton of tires to fit it including stock TJ rubicon tires. the wider spacing will help 31in tires to fit better without rubbing on some stuff, but you still have some modifaction to do to fit them. Might need some different bs or something if youre going to run 255 or 265 tires. I dunno anything bout those...

stick with the OE KJ wheels
less lift use the same 245/75's as the reat with less rub than 15" rims with a 30X9.5
I will send you my wheels and tires off of my TJ and even trade you for the foose wheels
They will not fit the KJ ever but I think it would be cool to have some slightly blinging wheels with some
33" tall nitto mud graplers on the TJ

I would probably end up trashing them out on the trails

I have the stock wheels from a TJ Sahara and 31X11.5 Superswamper LTB's
They will not fit ,both tires and rims
I was joking

the only pic I have of the Tire's and kinda the wheels

They make some that are in the 29-30" range but they are bias ply and NOT good for a DD
the rims DO NOT fit a KJ
IIRC some one has some 31X10.5 Truxs MT's on a KJ but I know trimming and such was done
