I bought my Libby a year ago, two tires were replaced but the remaining two were stock and still had plenty of tread. I have driven the Jeep for a year without problem. The most recent tire rotation put the stock tires on the rear. This weekend I was camping in the Smoky Mountains with my girlfriend. It rained all day Friday and we were on the New Found Gap road, took a tight corner and the back end of my Libby tried to meet the front end. Luckly I was able to save it and keep it in my lane and away from the cliff and 4500 foot drop... It is time for new treads... |

yes time for new ones for sure you have made it a lot longer than most!  Thank good ness you are OK and not over the hill, know that area well and if you went the right way youd have to take your lunch with you to eat on the way down!  oh by the way I have some 245 70s used for sale 1/2 tread shameless plug I know but gotta sell them somehow!
