any other black wheels out there that have the same BS as factory wheels? seems to be a lot of confusion on tire/wheel combinations that fit a stock KJ with the Soft 8's

Not unless you have them custom made. As far as I know no one makes after market rims with 5.5" BS like many OEM vehicles use.You can get 5",4.75",4.5",4",and 3.75" are the most common for steel rims like the soft 8's.I know you can get Basset steel rims in black and 5.5" BS,then again they are all custom orders though and only availaeble in 5 on 5 or 5 on 5.5 bolt patterns though.

TJ, you the man for putting up with all my stupid questions. It looks like if I go Crager 16x7 (5x4.5?) these will have 4" BS and I should stay below 235/70R16 to be safe. Another option would be factory wheels that will let me go up to at least 245/70R16?
one more question...why don't I see anybody mentioning the Series 342 Black D window or Soft 8's in chrome? is it a pricing issue or is this just a chrome don't get you home thing? I will be mostly road driving and my Limited has plenty of chrome so chrome wheels might be an option for me.
thanks again and set me straight if my thoughts are off base.

Drybones,

I am investigating the same thing - I am unable to find a supplier with "chrome" 8's in the correct size.
So, its not that no one likes than, I do not think they make them.

found these. I have never ordered from this company but hopefully others here can leave some input on JEGS.

Yep - I like Jegs as well, but they do not have 15" 4.75 BS in Chome only black.

Soft 8 397 Series Wheel
Finish: Black
Size: 15'' x 8''
Bolt Circle: 5 x 4-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 4-3/4''

So our stock wheels are 5½" BS? Unique makes some Soft 8s in 16×7 with 5 on 4½" holes (at least that's what the guy at Discount Tire told me), but I don't know what the BS is on those.

What's the BS on the Moabs?

Yes the OEM rims have 5.5" of BS.I have those exact Unique Steel rims, they actually measure 4.5" of BS(physically measured them). The MOAB's are 16x8 rims with 5" of BS
