I'm putting my Maxxis Bighorns on today, and can't decide which way... I am leaning towards the black lettering but I can't decide!!

What color is the Jeep?
What do your wheels look like?
Whats your trim like?
etc etc.

Some vehicles look better with white, some better with black. Got any pics of your Jeep other then the super muddy ones?

once you go black, you never go back

I think cars look silly with the white lettering. Your tire basically becomes an advertisement for the tire co. Maybe if it had something awesome written or drawn on the side Id change my mind, but for now I will always go with the black facing out or all black wall.

Black. Once you get out in the dirt and rocks the tires start getting scuffed and the white lettering just looks bad. With the black out they still get scuffed but the lettering doesn't look trashed...

do not mount with the white letters out if you plan to wheel
the white letters are only a raised part of a solid white line that goes around the tire
you can rub the black off of the white line and it looks bad
we found this out on our Goodyear ATS's after about 2 years and a few trips off road they were looking rough
the problem is that most tire shops recomend NOT turning the tires so the black is out ,has to do with the way they wear
so you end up with tires that look bad
just go black and deal with it
I like the white letters out but I also like to wheel and would prefer to have it looking good 2 years after I put the tires on
