My spare is in to complete my set. So while it's in I was gonna rotate the tires. The tire guy said I could turn the white lettering in if It wanted. Should I do it? The whites are out. Do put them in?

The white lettering tends to get pretty nasty after wheeling.

I have the black side out on mine. I don't feel the need to advertise my tires first off, plus it just looks cleaner and better.

run black out , I know for a fact no one ( well I dont think so) ever got their tires cheaper because they were advertising for the company with the white letters out

white lettering to me is just true to the 4x4 name, real old, see them on original broncos and ofcourse cjs etc, just reminds me of the original days

IMO white letters look better because they break up the sea of black tire. Black tires without the white letters look dull and bland, but put the white letters there and it adds just a little touch of flair to really set the jeep off.

IMO white letters on trucks and SUVs, black wall on small car tires.

Do what I do.... Start with the white letters out. Keep tearing 'em up on curbs till they look all mangled,  then switch 'em!

I agree with Sir Sam. The White's Out looks "tougher" if you will. Of course I love the look of white letters on an old muscle car, so I guess that train of thought transfers over to any car in my mind! Personally I think white letters out look really sporty on my factory painted Renny rims ('03 5-spoke) with the silver outlines.

I feel the same way, I like the look of the White letters on the sea of black, makes the tires stand out.

I have the whites out and this weekend I tore them up wheeling at my wifes farm. But I used white touch up paint and you can't even tell they were damaged. It probably took about five minutes to touch them up.

Post subject:  If I could get the WOODY Look

Although many have shown distaste to having a KJ with old Cherokee woody look if I could attant that look and add wide White Wall tires I would acheive the personaslized Lokk we all desire. But the OLD SCHOOL Wide White Wall tire Look is for street rods and not KJ's. I would be ther first to step up to the plate for Woody enhancement, Wide White Wall Tires , Fender Skirts (aFirst for Lost) Then Lower ARmore. This may not set well with some but I'm going for the indiviual work. We all want Our JEEP to be our own If you don't agree with my choice of mods no problems thats what LOST and AMERICA is all aboput freedom of choice. 8)

My liberty is stone-white with black flares so I have my whites out. the white black (grey) contrast all the way down makes my Jeep look better.
