I am trying to figure out what to replace the Wranglers with on my KJ when they finally die. I like the BFG TA KOs on my XJ but I do not expect to take the KJ where the XJ goes, like off road in Death Valley. The KJ is for mostly paved and a few unpaved roads. But I will sometimes be towing a trailer, probably 3,500 lbs with the KJ CRD. So is there a tire to look for for towing? and would I change the tire pressure when towing/not towing? All four tires or just the rear two? Is the sidewall strength/rating what I should be looking for? Does it matter if I go up to 235s?

After towing my 5000# travel trailer, I replaced my michelins in the rear with 245/75R16 BFG ATKOs. I have not put them on the front yet, as I need to get a lift. It looks a little goofy with different sizes, but the tires are awesome for towing. Load range E. I run them at 56PSI and they are quiet. You do notice the stiffness compared to the stockers. Hopefully I can get a lift this x-mas and put the other 2 tires in my basement on.
