Nitto Terra Grapper/ Toyo Open Country A/T

Anyone ever run these tires? or had experience with them or knew some one who had them.

Im soon going to be selling my MT/R's and Going with 1 of the 2 in a 265/75/16

I've known a number of folks who've run the Open Country A/T's and love them. Out here in the Northwest, they are sold through Les Schwab and pretty ubiquitous. They and BFG A/T's seem to dominate the market.

I had the Toyo Open Country and like them. Worked well. Wet, dry and in snow equally. Not good in mud, though. Hit some trails with them and thought the held out very good. My issues were price & the installers poor followup service. Otherwise would probally still have them.

After reading several reviews their short-comings in the mud seem to be a general fact. Other's said treadwear was crap also, but at the same time others said it was great. ...

I think that both tires down falls seems to be that they dont do well in mud which is the main off road terrain down here, that and sand, but i bet they would do well in sand. Both Tires tread design is almost identical so they will most likely share the same traction issues.

How do you think these would compare to BFG TA KO, General Grabber, or the Dueler A/T Revo?

My problem with BFG- Way too exspensive

My problem with Grabber- 265 75 only available in load Range E, I want a C or D to save weight.

My problem with Dueler- Price and im not sure how they do in the mud...
