so im about to need new tires. i have 245/75/16 Big O M+S tires on right now. i kinda like the M+S tire style so i was thinking of these Goodyear Super Sprt Tire these tires are cheap so i figured i might give them a try. i have never heard of them and wanted to know if anyone else has. if i dont get these i think im going w/ the Treadwright OTR some run on here.Treadwright link. i also though about getting these MTRs off walmarts site as well.MTR link i seen someone else on here was going to get these MTRs and wanted to know if they were as good. Im not sure i want to get an AT tires but i do need something that will last due to the distance i drive every day. since the retreads are so cheap i might give them a try since they are half the price as most if they last half as long im good. i also 4 wheel almots every weekend so i need something good on the trail. let me know what u think!!

First off don't buy tires from wallmart, they won't install them anyway unless they are the stock size.Better to go to a place like discount tires, they price match also.

I personally would stay away from retreats like the black plague, seen to many retreats loose there treads.MT/R's are a very good offroad tire, one of the best made, really shine on the rocks and are really tough tires.I have had 3 sets of MT/R's and if I would have worn them down(all 3 where different sizes) they all would have lasted 40,000+ miles, very good for a MT tire.Your not going to find a better wearing MT tire then the MT/R's,the Maxxis BigHorns come in a close 2nd.

thanks for the advice tjkj. and i wouldnt have had walmart to put them on. right across the road is my buddys tire shop that would mount andd balance them for free. as for what tire i am going w/ i think i have decided on MTRs im am hopfully getting 2 used form a LOST member that are like new and the other 2 new. i also like the Bighorns but they are a little high. 40k miles would be great to get out of some MTs since i drive so much. heck it wasnt no time till mine were toast.

Those are really great looking tires, but I am curious how horribly the gas mileage suffers with those? And are they noisey?

Thanks! :D

Those Goodyear Super Sprt Tire are probably made specially for Wal-mart. I know Good Year makes tire specially for Sears.
There are several people on this site that have bought from http://treadwright.com/default.aspx & http://www.greendiamondtire.com/ with no complaints; ask around.
