So, tommudd has a bit a rubbing but, he's running Moabs and Bodz123 has no rubbing but running stock wheels. Don't mind me, I'm just thinking out loud.

Seriously though, I've been taking measurements and checking clearances with wheels turned, etc... I'm sure that I can run 245/65/17's with no problem and it appears that I can just barely get away with a 255. I have lots of clearance at the rear, even with the pinch weld untouched. The issue is at the front with the rubber do-hickey that runs below the bumper. As one member put it, "what the tire rubs on is a lot weaker than the tire." So, no big deal.
My biggest concern was if there would be any clearance issues with the various suspension pieces, using a stock rim, due to the extra section width.
