Post subject:  price on used tires help !
Any advise on how much $$$$ to ask for a set of all 5 G/Y wrangler stock Libby tires, with 30 K on them.

The spare has never touched the ground, no flats or plugs, abnormal wear...size 235/70/16???

If they are the SR/A's there is not much market for them, from what I have seen. They are not well loved. I have seen those still on the steelie rims go for around $100-$125 a set. As 30k puts those tires at about 2/3's done by life expectancy, you might get $15 ea or so for them off the rim around here.

try ebay or something like that. i think u could get more money for them that way since most here get rid of them as soon as possible. i didn sell mine that were about like urs for 10bucks for all of them to the guy i got my used tires form. he just needed them so his parts Land Rover wasnt sitting on blocks and he could move it around in the driveway if needed. im not saying u should sell ur tires for 10 bucks though.

sold mine way back for 80 or 90 I think or somewhere in there, my spare had never been on the ground either, same 235-70X16 had them for quite a while and finally unloaded them to someone on here :wink: who then traded them in on new tires, won't mention any names! :wink: :wink:
