What back spacing should i use with 235/70/16 tires 4.0 or 4.5. What will give me the least rub? And also what is the difference between the two?

Thanks,
Logan

With 235/70's you should get a 16x7 Wheel with 4" BS. I'm running that setup without any rubbing issues.

But your lifted and he is not.

Go for the 4.5" BS,the closer you get to the OEM BS of 5.5" the better you'll be when not lifted.

I meant I was running that combo before the lift without any rubbing issues. I haven't change the tires or wheels since I've been lifted.

I'm assuming you want black steelies, I haven't seen any 16x7 with 4.5" BS, most that I found were 4" BS.

Logan is correct. Quadratech has Crager 16x7's with a 4.5" backspace. For those that don't want black wheels, they offer a 5-spoke version, Series 364, in silver. They also have 16x8 Cragers with a 5" backspace, like the Moabs.

For a little extra "bling" you can add stainless trim rings, too.

   "HOT NEW PRODUCTS " sure from 1975, I remember when white spoke wheels first came out and then a company started selling chrome rings for them, they soon realized that people did not want them either or if they buy them they got torn off on the trail, but then todays market maybe different , lots more bling bling bling anymore    !!!
