Lookin to buy some Kumho Road Ventures

Hey all money is tight in my house these days and I need to get off the bologna rings Good Year calls tires. I am lookin at P235/70R-16 104S OWL Kumho Road Ventures AT KL78's and they are only $98.00 each at tires.com. Would love some feed back on Kumho tires in general, a cheaper better tire if you know of one and what the small change in size is gonna do to or for me. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I've got about 3,000 miles on mine - great so far, I think Woody and Tom Mudd are running them too
(although I'm running 245/75/16 E's)

running great so far have maybe a little over 10,000 and no issues at all, great in the snow, some mud and over rocks, quiet running. I have the 255-70s on Moabs you could go up to a 245 70 with no problems

A lot of the bargain places I looked at in my recent tire quest really stick it to you on shipping, with shipping for 4 running from $40 to $160 ( :shock:

That is an out of control price for those tires at Jegs. But that has been my experience with them the part everyone want $144 the off size same brand no one wants $78

Wow. That does seem high. And they are higher than they were just a few weeks ago. The size I was looking at, 235/85/16, are $99.

I have no luck with Discount tire or their policies, but it must also depend on your region. They do not give me the option for a Kumho in that size or any of the sizes that would fit our jeeps.

Yah I know the reviews are mixed but with the price of Diesel at $4.09 i dont know how long my CRD will be in my family either..........
