When I did a quick look at the list of topics I thought the title on this one was 'Another Murder option...' Man I gotta get some sleep

Those tires don't look too bad, but they look more like an AT than an MT to me, seems like they don't have a lot of the extra tread elements out on the sidewalls like other MTs I've seen.

The tire is made by Cooper Tire, as is the Mastercraft, and is the same tire as the Cooper S/T. They tought it as "somewhere between an A/T and an M/T". A P245/70/R17 weighs 36 pounds and the LT245/70/R17 E weighs 46 pounds. Both come in at only about a 30.45 inch diameter, a bit shorter than most 245/70/17's, but the section width goes from 9.96 on the P to 10.07 on the LT.

That is NOT the SAME tire as the Discoverer S/T. Tread pattern isn't as aggressive...i'd call that an AT at best.
