how big of a tire will I be able to use with the AEV Bridger wheels (16x8) and an OME medium lift If I don't plan on any pounding or cutting? |

Most likely 245/70's,may squeak by 245/75's if the BS is 5" at least(you will rub though),any less you will need to pound down the pinchweld and trim some plastic.

BS is approx. 4.5" with a +6mm offset according to their website. So 245/70's would still be ok with no pounding/trimming? edit: just looking at Tirerack.com the 245/70/16's are the same OD as my 245/65/17's so I guess I could just stay with what i am running for now if and when I lift. Seems the lift should buy me some space but I guess not without pounding and cutting. Also, how much OD is lost when going from a 7" to 8" wheel width? how much will a 30.5 change? I also figure they will end up wider which will affect the rubbing issue too. Looks like I may want the HD OME lift and start thinking about a front bumper |
