Hey, ive been looking to getting some Xtreme Alloy Pro Comp 1069 series wheels and i was just curious if i could run 4' back spacing, i know this only moves the rubbing points but thats not what im concerned about i just want to know if it will work and i could maintain my original turning radius.......also on another point can i move my 245/75/16 over from a 16x7 to 16x8?

I figuered cheaper tires and better availability would make it a hot topic.

Hell, if someone buys me 5 each, appropriate 15" black wheels with center caps, I'll give them 5 each 16" Mesa's.

I'm using a 16x7 rim with 0 offset (centered flange) on my summer mud tires (i.e. 3.5" backspace). It works great both to eliminate rubbing, and allow a wider tire to fit, and gives a wider track. If memory serves, the factory rims are +42 mm offset, so changing to 0 offset moves the rims OUT by 42 mm (~ 1 5/8"), or widens the track by 3 1/4" (plus any change in tire width). If you're buying new rims anyway, it's all the same price for a different offset, and new rims are cheaper (and safer) than wheelspacers, for the same effect, not to mention making it easier to change rims etc. on the trail.
