Do a search on that, look back a page or two, or look up "Moose"'s posts. There is some pretty good info.

In a nutshell, that is a pretty good size as the narrow width seems to make them easier to live with. They seem to do well on stock wheels, too.

If it is "just" the OME lift, IIRC, it will net you 2" of lift from new and the tire is a little more than 2" taller than the stock offerings. Frankenlift, Rockfather, etc... that use OME coils use additional methods to get you another 1/2" or so of lift. Some other lifts are 2.5" to start.

I'm not sure about those, but the BFG Commercial T/A M+S 235/85/16 LRE were the first desire I had for my CRD. I went as far as to have the guys mount one on my STOCK suspension, so I could check the fit by turning the wheels. It *did* fit, but just barely started cleaning off the inside of the wheel wells by the pinch weld and the very front, when turned at a severe angle.

I wasn't ready to start hitting my new car, so I went with the 215/85/16 version of the same tires. Next time (in a LOT of miles) I will get those. I might have a 2" lift then, but vertical travel wasn't the issue. Front and rear spacing was. They even fit perfectly within the inside of the wheelwell, not hitting the engine side at all.

Good luck with them!
