well i know its not the best idea but its not like an inch or even a half of an inch its only gonna be a 1/4"

Just don't do any full turns until you get the new wheels mounted...

Heat up the fog light door area and move it.. looks factory when you're done and stops the rub. Unless you're rubbing the sway bar... then... Don't turn quite full lock

I dont have a plastic bumper, I made my own front, Im getting rubbing on the back of the wheel well

oh ya its not even close to the pinch welds, its if I made a SHARP right turn, the front passenger tire rubs on the wheel well on the back side of the tire....if that makes sense, oh hold on Ill go snap a pic

but Im pretty sure that some new tires with a different BS will fix it

or just let the tires take care of it for you ,they are stronger than the plastic,
just wait a few days and see if it goes away. while you are waiting just play the radio a little louder

I just got my new 245/75 tires on and now i get rubbing when I do afull turn on the inside of the wheel well and Im planning on gett some Cragar Soft 8's but till then I was wondering if I would be ok to do 3 washers on each lug on all of my wheels just to push it out a little? I know its not the best thing in the world to do but I want it to stop rubbing and I was also wondering what is the ideal wheel I should get? its gotta be a 16" bc thats what my tires are, like a 16x8 with 4" of BS?

No no and NO... Thats an accident waiting to happen....Badddddd idea. Either get some actual billet alloy or steel spacers made specifically to suit, or wait till you get your new wheels. Just My Humble Opinion.

So when your rolling down the road, all the sudden your wheel will have some of its lugs loose, and uneven torque applied to the bolts. Very bad, can sheer a lug, and damage your suspension components very easily. If you need a cheap fix go down to your local pep boys or such and pick p the 1/4" spacers, I believe they go for about 30 bucks a pair, and are designed for duallies IIRC. I still wouldn't run those for long either personally, since they are a pretty soft steel also. '

I'd save the $30 a pair that Daspes mentioned and put it towards new wheels.

If you are getting rubbing there NOW, when you change to a wider rim or one with less backspacing it's only going to get worse..The less Backspacing the further out the wheel/tyre sits, that then increases the turning radius arc of the wheel, and therefore the tyre will come even closer to the wheel well.

When I was running 245/75's I ddin't even have rubbing on the pinchweld pre-pounding. Not sure if it was the MT/R's or the Frankenlift.

rock the 15" cragars and get a 15" tire. in the end it is all cheaper and a little better for the clearance problems you are having. trust me
