 Post subject: Cragar rims with factory caps question

For those who have Soft 8's and the factory steelies center caps on them. How did you mount them? Drill 3 holes in the rim? Shave the mounting nuts off and glue them?

you know as i was wondering the same thing. i havent seen anybody that has it done but ive thiught sbout it. wonder what it would look like???? ill put a pic up and see if someone can photoshop it or something:

G'Day Daspes, I was just about to point you there, when you found it.

Yes, I drilled the three holes in the rim centre, and bolted them on with the standard bolts that held them on the original KJ steelies.


But, as others say, the 05 onwards centres hold on with the lug nuts, so they would probably be a better option if you can get hold of some..
