I'm in need of some new tires (my original wranglers are giving me some trouble in the wet roads now) and I can't afford a lift atm. I'm wondering what are some of the roughest looking tires I can put on my stock KJ. It's my DD, but I don't mind road noise, so long as I don't lose effectiveness on the road. Thanks in advance. |

just pick something in a 245-70X16 whatever you can find to be the meanest looking I guess |

I was in the same boat just over a year ago. I settled on the General Grabber AT2's. Not a Mud Tire by any means but still a very aggressive looking tire for an AT. Performance has been great in all conditions that I drive in regularly. Here are some pics in the 245/70 size on my unlifted '07 Sport. I should add that the only rubbing I get is very slight and only when in full lock while reversing.

take a look at the Fuzion XTi's more of an AT tire but still look cool with the flames on the sidewall. |

x2 on the grabber AT2's. Not as aggressive as the MT/R's i had but the gas mileage went up 1-2mpg's. Less noise than the mt/r's but the grabbers still look good. |
