next 255-70 Kumho KL78
Next 265 -70 BFG
something to help you see what different tire sizes look like Tom |

My avatar shows my stock wheels and tires (225/75R16) -> Stock Height with 15" Black D's and 235/75R15 -> Clevis Lift with 15" Black D's and 235/75R15 -> Daystar & Clevis Lift with 15" Black D's and 235/75R15. I can post some actual pics if that is a comparison you would like to see...??? |

Tom you mentioned the 255's scrape by on the rear fender - do the 265's hit? and if you've got them available - how do the tread widths compare? (neither manufacturer lists it) |

(neither manufacturer lists it) Just put the 265-70s on today but I know they will hit for sure! I am tearing it down in a couple of weeks and testing it to see how much bumpstop I need or (if I ever find a set of stock steel wheels for cheap The BFG ATs are a good inch wider than the Kumhos were measuring across the tread the KL78s were just 8 inches, the BFGs are 9 plus a little they do fill up the fender well and look good on the Moabs I should of done a side by side comparison shot, but they are already on UPS heading for New York! |

Those 265's sure do look good. and an inch of treadwidth for 10mm of section width I guess I shouldn't be surprised - even for the tire manufacturers that list width there's about 3/4" difference across only 265's Thanks |

Ran down to the parts store and have seen this one Wrangler owner a dozen times, I always say Hi to him and get nothing in return. Tonight he was walking out and turned and came back in and said "OK now I have to go and admit that I like a Liberty! " |

long_tall_texan - that last picture is crying for more tire. I think a 31/10.50/15 would help. |

I think a 31/10.50/15 would help. Yeah, I know they should probably be a bit larger now, but I just got them, then put the lift on. Now they look a little small. They were OK pre-lift... Hard to justify getting rid of brand new tires already. But plan to get 31x10.50 next time. |
