Posted this in the tire section but didnt get any response so i figured i would post it here as well. Found these this weekend can anyone tell me if these will fit without a lift? Also what would i have to do other than going to a 15in rim. Is anyone currently running them or ran them in the past? Do you have pics? http://www.ntwonline.com/acb/showdetl.c ... 3&CATID=10 |

Just bought a set of Toyo's Open Country 245-70 series and couldn't be happier. The salesman at the tire shop worked at finding the tallest, widest tire to fit a stock suspension. I have to make an effort to get these to spin on wet pavement. I'm also very surprised at how quiet they are. I can't comment on the longevity yet of course, but I feel way more confident with my family riding on these tires than the OEM Michelins. No rubbing, no noise, and a great mud tread too. Huge difference. |

Nice looking tire but looks like they would suck on packed snow/ice (what you would find on the "street"). They look like they make some noise too. I thought my Cooper Discovery M&S tires would but they are very quite, bite really good and were 68.00 each w/stems/lifetime blance/rotation from Big O.
If I was doing alot of secondary road driving, rocks or sand, I would consider the tires you listed. They do look aggresive and I'm sure they perform every bit of it. Not too sure about the "street" thing though. They look like they would be as noisy as D_ick Cepeks gumbo mudders.. Ok, dating my self there.. |

I have Cooper ATR's (M+S rated), work very well in snow, ice, offroad and street also. Same pricing as well I believe, $420.00 out the door. |
